Exceptional Support for Large Events and Logistics
Our team recently had the task of planning a week-long conference in Victoria while working out of a different province. From the moment we reached out to Dowell’s to inquire about their shipping and receiving services, they provided us with all the information and resources we needed to ensure the overall success of our event. Over the course of 6 months and countless deliveries to their facility, they kept us in the loop with daily updates, and didn’t miss a single delivery. When we finally arrived on-site, they went above and beyond for us and our crew, helping us find our way around town, and even hand-delivering some last-minute items to us on-site when we were in a bind. They moved all of our items with professionalism and care and made what is normally a very stressful experience quite fun and enjoyable. We are so grateful to each and every one of the staff for all their hard work and exceptional service. For whatever your needs, these guys have you covered. We can’t recommend them enough!!

Professional, Courteous, and Reassuring Moving Crew
These guys were great to work with from the start. The three men who did the actual move were curtious, fun and professional from the start. From the moment they arrived to the end of the move they put me well at ease. Very professional in service tho and I knew ahead of time of a few of my pieces of furniture had little flaws and was very impressed when they pointed them out to me as they saw each one. I would highly recommend this company anytime. My only regret is I cannot remember the names of the three gentleman who moved me to thank them personally here. You made this lady very happy that day as anyone who has moved knows it can be very stressful.

Smooth Move with No Breakage – Hardworking and Careful

Outstanding Support and Professionalism
This was my first significant move after many years so I was quite stressed. From initial contact through to the end, all the personnel involved, from the office manager to Corb, packing my things, to the actual movers, were very empathetic and supportive. I must mention the most involved, those being the actual movers, Jacob Thormoe, Colin McNair and Cody Collins. Jacob, Colin and Cody were continually professional, respectful, supportive and happy even when faced with an extremely heavy piece of furniture that meant a lot to me.
They always offered to go the extra mile if furniture had to be moved repeatedly due to our uncertainty. Their upbeat attitude throughout helped me keep a positive outlook and they put a smile on my face when I was starting to be emotional. As my employer (DND) always had a reward system to acknowledge outstanding performance, I am hoping your company also could acknowledge these outstanding employees. Hardworking, professional and friendly movers - Victoria to Calgary
Dowell’s moved my family from Victoria BC to Calgary AB. Adam was great, gave us wardrobe boxes and was a great communicator. Fabulous move - moving locally in Victoria
Good morning to all... Now that I have a moment to take a deep breath, I want to express my appreciation for the splendid job Dowell's did on June 18.
As you know, relocation is a stressful time, particularly so for seniors such as myself who tend to allow the imagination to run at full gallop and anticipate what can go wrong rather than what will go right. In my case, all went right, thanks to your three-person team of Kord, Chris and Cody.
The lads were earlier than expected (a positive development), they were pleasant, engaging and professional, and seemed to genuinely appreciate my efforts to organize my belongings with movers in mind. On top of all that, they took less than three hours to perform the task, so the bottom line on the bill was less than the estimate.
All considered, a fabulous effort by your lads. Truly admirable. My friend Lucy and I couldn't have been more pleased.
So I thank you and assure you that I shall recommend Dowell's to any and all who inquire about moving/storage companies.

I had a fantastic experience with Dowell's. Adam was very responsive with all my questions. Perfect move - Moving locally in Victoria
Every piece of furniture was wrapped up – taken away to the storage. I had the option to change the delivery date of when it would be delivered.Which was a real plus. When the furniture was delivered to my condominium the team worked incredibly hard; they put everything where it needed to go and were polite and extremely experienced. I would definitely recommend Dowels moving and storage to anyone.

Every piece of furniture was wrapped up – taken away to the storage. I had the option to change the delivery date of when it would be delivered.Which was a real plus. Truly Professional Moving Company - Victoria to Calgary
My wife and I want to thank Gary & Bob for a great moving experience. We moved from Victoria to Calgary and had great movers on both ends of the trip. Gary was super helpful with providing us with moving boxes and estimated our weight within 2 kg. Bob was a great help on both ends of our move. He's an incredible driver and clearly knows what he's doing. He's a true moving pro. Even though the weather was horrible on the highways and in Calgary (-23) all of our stuff arrived in perfect condition. Our fridge and TVs needed a day to thaw out but they were fine once they warmed up. I highly recommend these guys if you're moving. They're worth it!

Dowell's movers were on time, swift, careful, and made sensible decisions when decisions were needed. This was a short move, and the three fellows worked well together and were very pleasant people. Very pleasant experience - Moving to Saltspring Island

Completely Satisfied - Moving to Quebec
I left a review before when they moved my belongings into storage. Now that the move from BC to Quebec is completed, I can reiterate my entire satisfaction with the team. The staff is accommodating and reliable, and the moving team back East was 10/10. Would do business with them again any time.
